Puff - Never Forgotten

Born: July 25th 1987
Passed: September 8th 2005

Lived to a ripe old happy age of 18 years, 1 month, 2 weeks and 3 days.

Puff lived a very fabulous life. She was spoiled as much as loved. Her kindness, sweet, and benevolent nature will forever be remembered. Her personality was vast, and anyone who met her would instantly notice her sweet nature.

Being a animal shelter kitty, she quickly took to the lavish (and indulgent) indoor life, and never turned back. Her fancy with the outdoors was merely an insatiable interest in pine needles, which she would eat at the first chance she could, even though it would make her sick every time! Never would she desire to run off if the door was open, but rather peek out curiously to see if anything green lay nearby for a quick snack.

Puff's only appetite wasn't just for pine needles, but basically anything plastic. She would spend hours licking the laundry basket, or vinyl shower curtains. Often times she would get herself into much trouble by chewing through phone cables, and at a few times, power wires! Only zapped herself silly once, and she learned to never go under that desk again, however she would still pursue other wires.

Most cats fear water, but Puff loved water. She would clean up water spills, lick condensation from a glass, drink about a quart in water a day, and even spend some more time in the tub or shower clearing up the leftover water drops! Needless to say, if you presented any form of water in front of her, she would lick it up!

During her lifetime, she reached a whopping 26 pounds. Mostly she was 20 pounds since she was 2-3 years old. Doctors would consistently gripe about her weight and say she would never live long with such an unhealthy situation. They couldn't have been more wrong. It wasn't the weight, nor the skin cancer she got four years before her passing. She simply got old. It didn't seem to stop her determination in living life to the fullest, as she was just as alert and happy before she passed, as she was when she was saved from that animal shelter.

She will be missed.

To my baby-girl, I love you Puff!
